Medical Students Present AMSA Health Policy Week Noon Lectures, April 28-May 2

The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) Student Interest Group (SIG) at the University of Vermont College of Medicine is presenting a week of noontime lectures Monday, April 28 through Friday, May 2, 2014, focused on health policy in Vermont now and in the future. Lectures will take place daily from noon to 12:50 p.m. in the Sullivan Classroom, Room 200, in the College’s Medical Education Center. Lunch is provided.

The lecture series features leaders from the College of Medicine’s teaching partner Fletcher Allen Health Care, the Department of Vermont Health Access, the Vermont Department of Health, and Physicians for a National Health Program.

In addition to the AMSA SIG, support for the series has been provided by Associate Dean for Public Health Jan Carney, M.D., M.P.H., and the UVM College of Medicine Student Council.
