Patient Registration
The University of Vermont College of Medicine requires that investigators register patients on research trials within 24 hours of patient consent. Please enter the patient registration via Study Manager (a web-based clinical trials management system). Study Manager monitors all phases of clinical trials including protocol status, accruals, visits, and budgets. If you have questions on the use of Study Manager, please contact the UVM Office of Clinical Trials at 802-656-9912.
All cancer-related clinical trials must be entered in StudyManager in order to receive VCC Protocol Review Committee approval. Required information is limited and includes: Title, Sponsor, Disease, Protocol ID*, PI, Date Opened, Phase (I, II, III), Type (e.g. Prevention, Treatment), and Target Annual & Total Accrual. It is recommended that the information be entered in SM at the time of submission to the PRC.
Once a study has been approved and opened, patient/subject registration information and race/ethnicity data are to be entered in StudyManager; paper registrations are no longer accepted.
Use of other StudyManager features is optional.
