Mini-Symposia Funding
Proposals
Mini-Symposia applications will describe the proposed event in two (2) pages or less. Proposals will contain at a minimum the following information:
- Goals of the symposium
- Proposed Speakers (draft)
- Target Audience
- Budget Estimate
- Proposed Agenda (draft outline)
Review
VCC Leadership Committee will review and select the mini-symposia proposals to be funded on an ongoing basis throughout the calendar year.
Award Criteria
Grants will be awarded on the basis of relevance to VCC programmatic initiatives.
Current Award Dates
The grants will be awarded throughout the calendar year based on fund availability. Funding is limited.
Submission
Submit the original and six (6) double-sided copies of the proposal along with one electronic PDF copy. The original application should be single-sided and single-spaced with type no smaller that 10-point. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed by the Leadership Committee to:
