Residency and Fellowships
The Department of Neurological Sciences offers a fully accredited three-year residency training program that provides a thorough and broad based clinical neurologic experience, as well as four fellowship training programs. A preliminary year of Internal Medicine is required and can be arranged at the University of Vermont for qualified applicants. Neurology Residency- The Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Vermont College of Medicine & Fletcher Allen offer a fully accredited 3-year neurology residency training program providing a broad based clinical neurologic experience.
Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship- The Clinical Neurophysiology Training Program at University of Vermont/Fletcher Allen is a one-year postgraduate fellowship designed to provide detailed knowledge of clinical neurophysiology.
Multiple Sclerosis Fellowship- The University of Vermont Multiple Sclerosis Fellowship Program is a two year program which enables trainees to become independent investigators in the design & doncuct of clinical studies in MS & other autoimmune diseases.
Neuromuscular Fellowship- The Neuromuscular Fellowship in the University of Vermont/Fletcher Allen is a one year, renewable program of clinical and research training.
Sleep Fellowship- The Sleep Fellowship Program at the University of Vermont is an ACGME accredited one-year postgraduate fellowship designed to provide detailed knowledge of clinical sleep medicine and prepare the fellow for the sleep medicine board exam given by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
