Academic Interests

Peter Bingham is the Division Head for Pediatric Neurology at UVM Medical Center. He graduated from Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons and completed a fellowship in pediatric neuromuscular disease at the University of Pennsylvania. His clinical work spans the range of pediatric neurological conditions including headache, developmental and neurogenetic concerns, epilepsy, and movement disorders. Dr. Bingham leads the Neuroscience Department's committees on resident advancement (Clinical Competency), ongoing practice evaluation, and Quality Assurance. His research activity focuses on pulmonary neuro-rehabilitation (spirometer games for children with chronic lung disease). He is on the editorial board of Games For Health, holds three patents, and was a Fulbright Scholar Awardee in 2013.
