Academic Interests

Edward S. Leib, M.D.'s major subject of research is osteoporosis. Presently his team are reviewing data from The Osteoporosis Center's 17,000 patient database. Abstracts from this research have been presented at major national and international meetings. Dr. Leib is a founding member and former Executive Committee member of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) and has served as chair of the Education Council, Scientific Advisory Committee, and the Publications Committee. He has chaired the two Position Development Conferences of that organization and has been awarded the Paul Miller aware for outstanding service, the highest award presented by the ISCD.
