Annual Conferences

Post San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium Review*

Since 2004 the Hematology/Oncology Division has presented the Post San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium Review. This is an evening program that provides a forum for the physicians who attended this annual breast cancer conference to share updates with local and regional medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nurses, fellows and all other medical and oncology professionals. This year's conference will be held January 24, 2013 at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center. Registration information for the 2013 conference is posted here.

Northeastern Genitourinary Oncology Symposium (NGOS)*

The Vermont Cancer Center, in partnership with McGill University Health Centre and Norris Cotton Cancer Center, will present the Northeastern Genitourinary Oncology Symposium April 19-20, 2013. Registration information may be found on the above link.

The regional collaborative event draws urologists and medical and radiation oncologists, as well as other health care professionals from the northeastern United States and Quebec for two days of cutting-edge educational sessions on the appropriate evaluation and treatment of patients with undiagnosed renal masses, kidney, bladder, prostate and testis cancers.

Highlights of ASCO*

For 15 years, the Vermont Cancer Center has coordinated Highlights of the American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting (ASCO) as a service to its members, staff, and their regional healthcare colleagues. This is a day-long annual review of the most important international clinical oncology meeting of the year, featuring updates in clinical and translational cancer research and treatment in primary disease sites and cancer prevention. The event is for physicians, oncology nurses, and all other medical and oncology professionals. The next conference takes place June 21, 2013 at the Davis Center - Livak Ballroom, UVM Campus in Burlington, Vermont . Call 802-656-2176 for registration information.
