Fellowship
We offer a two-year fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism designed to train clinical endocrinologists equipped for an academic medical career. We provide exposure to a wide array of clinical endocrine diseases and supervise Fellows in recognizing, diagnosing, treating, and long-term follow-up of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, pituitary disease, adrenal disease, reproductive endocrinology disorders, electrolyte disorders, and metabolic bone disease. Elective opportunities in more specialized areas including lipid disorders, reproductive endocrinology, pediatric endocrinology, podiatry, and ophthalmology round out the experience of our Fellows. Finally, we build in protected research time for Fellows to complete an independent research project during their fellowship. See Graduate Medical Education at the University of Vermont/Fletcher Allen Health Care to learn more about our program.
