the Division Chief

The Division of Dermatology is a strong, clinical division with a broad expertise in medical and surgical dermatology. Our faculty members are locally and nationally renowned for their expertise and devotion to patient care.

Our unit cares for over 25,000 patients annually and draws from a large regional base extending from upstate New York to New Hampshire. The division is well-known for its superior residency and procedural dermatology training programs.

Attending physicians and trainees regularly make strong contributions to the medical literature, and we are thoughtfully expanding our academic base with targeted areas of research in cutaneous oncology and bioinformatics.

Our state-of the-art facility overlooks Lake Champlain and the Adirondack mountains, and we provide patient care at an unhurried, deliberate pace. Our surgical unit is among the strongest in the country, and our medical dermatologists have specialized expertise in cutaneous lymphoma and connective tissue diseases.
