Public Health Association Recognizes Student Projects

Global Health Series IIDr. Majid Sadigh will host the second session in the Global Health Series on Tuesday, December 4 at 5 pm in the Sullivan Classroom. During her absence, medical student financial services counselors Mary Lou Hollinger and Jessica Harnois will be staffing the office: UpToDate: New Licensing to include off-site accessA new license and contract with UpToDate includes access for UVM medical students and faculty on campus or offsite. The Integrative Health and Global Health Medical Student Interest Groups hosted a special presentation by Robin Lim on November 5 in the Davis Auditorium in the Medical Education Center on Level 2 of Fletcher Allen Health Care's Ambulatory Care Center campus. 
UVM Clinical Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Malek was featured in a news story this week along with patient and stroke survivor Elizabeth Farrar. Dr. Malek is only one of a handful of Interventional Neurologist nationwide bringing the latest available treatments in stroke care to St. Mary's Medical Center.
