More than 70 people made up the team. "One thing I really appreciated about the Vermont marathon yesterday was the immense support from the community," said Mohammad Mertaban '16. A total of 45 UVM medical students, eight graduate students, 10 faculty/staff members, one current Steps to Wellness patient, and several friends and family members participated on the team. More than $24,000 to benefit Steps to Wellness, a medically-based rehabilitation program for cancer survivors.
