(NOV. 11, 2013) New England Cable News and Fox44/ABC22 aired segments on their evening news programs about the texting and driving awareness program hosted by the UVM/Fletcher Allen Clinical Simulation Lab on November 11, 2013. Approximately 65 driver education students from Vermont’s Milton High School and Northfield High School participated in the program, which took place in the UVM College of Medicine’s Sullivan Classroom in the Medical Education Center. New England Cable News reporter Jack Thurston spoke with distracted driving victim Deborah Drewniak, and several students, for his coverage of the event. Fox 44/ABC 22 reporter Kristen Tripodi interviewed several high school students, as well as Fletcher Allen Trauma Program Manager Jennifer Gratton, for her story.
