Clinical Simulation Lab featured in Best of Burlington

(JUNE 19, 2013) Best of Burlington, a quarterly magazine featuring local businesses, personalities, places of interest, hot cultural topics, arts, music, and more, featured UVM College of Medicine's Clinical Simulation Lab in their Summer 2013 issue. The lab is a collaborative effort of the UVM College of Medicine, the UVM College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and Fletcher Allen Health Care, and uses a high-tech patient simulator to educate doctors, staff, and students, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality and safety of patient care. Best of Burlington calls the lab "a safe place to work out the kinks," and quotes Ted James, M.D., associate professor of surgery and director of Clinical Simulation, describing the lab as "a unique space [where] everyone comes to learn together."
