Drs Koutras and LieberFamily Medicine is a university academic department, supporting teaching faculty and providing department status and structure for family physicians with attending medical staff privileges at The University of Vermont Medical Center. All of our sites are Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Homes practicing population health management, clinical care collaboration, and high quality care.

The University of Vermont Medical Center's Family Medicine Health Care Service operates six sites:

• Comprehensive health care for all age groups
• Pediatric care for babies, young children and teens
• Sports medicine and musculoskeletal evaluations
• Adult and geriatric medicine
• Palliative care and hospice
• Women's health care, cervical cancer screening, colposcopy
• Pregnancy, maternity and newborn care
• Family planning and birth control
• Physical examinations
• Annual Wellness Visits
• Urgent care and ambulatory infusion services at Urgent Care
• HIV testing and counseling
• Skin care and minor surgery
• Vasectomy
• Integrated mental health services
• Physical therapy (at select sites)
• Laboratory and Phlebotomy services
• Imaging services (at select sites)
• Hospital care for babies, children and adults
• Home visits when needed
• Extensive Medical Home services
