Time: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Location: Flynn Space
Description: The Flynn Center partners with Vermont Public Television and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at University of Vermont to present Community Cinema in FlynnSpace. Community Cinema is a free monthly screening series showcasing the Emmy Award-winning PBS Series Independent Lens. A new film is previewed at these screenings one month prior to the scheduled broadcast of each film on Vermont Public Television. Following each hour-long film, a community discussion that expands on and examines the film is presented.
"Love Free or Die"
Love Free or Die is about a man whose two defining passions the world cannot reconcile: his love for God and for his partner Mark. The film is about church and state, love and marriage, faith and identity—and openly gay Bishop Eugene Robinson's struggle to dispel the notion that God’s love has limits.
