The course will provide practical approaches to common problems in Hospital Medicine informed by experts and the latest evidence.
The target audience is comprised of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners practicing hospital medicine. Some of the clinicians will also be engaged in education, research, quality improvement, and management. The audience may also include hospital medicine program administrators, resident physicians, and medical students with an interest in careers in hospital medicine.

- To select the appropriate diagnostic tools and therpies for managing healthcare-associated pneumonia.
- To effectively evaluate a patient with elevated Troponin I.
The University of Vermont College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Vermont designates this live activity for a maximum of 15.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.
This program has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 15.0 Nursing Contact Hours.*

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Stoweflake Resort & Conference Center in Stowe, Vermont. We recommend that you make your reservations early as this is a busy vacation time and accommodations are limited. Available room rates for this program are $265 deluxe room, double occupancy per night. Luxury guest rooms and two bedroom condominiums are also available.
