Student Hosting Program
Dear Prospective Student:
Congratulations on being invited for an interview at the University of Vermont College of Medicine! We remember how it feels to be in your place. We've had the experience of filling out applications, the anxiety of waiting to hear back from medical schools, and the excitement of receiving each positive reply. We also remember how expensive the process became.
In order to help defray costs, we have established a student host service here at the UVM College of Medicine. Although we cannot promise to provide a luxurious dinner or a king-size bed, we can offer another perspective on UVM and a free place to stay for the night.
In an attempt to match you with a student host we request that you fill out and submit the Student Hosting Application . Please note that we will match you with a host in order of interview date, so if your request is for a month or more out, you may not receive a response right away.
Due to our schedules, there may be times where no host is available for a particular day. While we make every effort to accommodate as many applicants as possible, at times we cannot do so. If we are able to match you with a host you will be informed via email.
Thank you for your interest in student hosting and we wish you the best of luck during the interview process.
