This page and the accompanying website contain important information to assist you between the time of acceptance and matriculation in August. We will continue to add information to this site throughout the fall and early spring.

Please note the following important items:
- Please keep your PREFERRED Contact Information updated in the AMCAS system. Until matriculation, those are the phone number, e-mail address, and regular mailing address that the university will use to contact you.
- Please stay aware of updates here on the 'Admitted Student' Page
- Orientation begins on Monday, August 10th, 2015. Orientation week is August 10-14. Orientation is a credit-bearing course; therefore, it is essential and mandatory.

Get Ready for Orientation
New student orientation begins on August 10, 2015.
Enrollment Deposit: You must submit your $100 enrollment deposit to hold your seat in the class within the time frame listed in your acceptance letter. This deposit is credited toward your first year tuition. If you notify us in writing by May 15th of your intent to withdraw, your deposit will be refunded.
Withdrawal: If you decide that you are not going to attend the University of Vermont College of Medicine, please let us know in writing that you would like to decline your seat. Please send an email to email@example.com.
Financial Aid: Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid as soon as possible if you wish to be considered for financial aid. You will be sent instructions on how to access your financial aid package beginning in March. Visit the Student Financial Services website for more information, or feel free to contact the Student Financial Services Office.
Background Check: Your acceptance is provisional until you have completed and released the results of a criminal background check. More information about the background check is available here.
Multiple Acceptance deadline: Please note that the deadline for those holding multiple acceptances to select one school and release all others is April 30th. In order to receive a refund of your enrollment deposit, we must receive your request to withdraw no later than that date. For more information, please review the Admitted Applicant Responsibilities
Class of 2019 Facebook page: Connect with your future classmates on the Facebook group for the Class of 2018 prior to orientation regarding housing, etc. The name of the group is UVM College of Medicine Class of 2019. Please note that participation is wholly voluntary and anyone who chooses to participate should use good judgment in what is posted and remember that this means of communication should not be considered private or confidential.
