Serving the world we live in is a vitally important mission of the UVM College of Medicine. The College is a key partner with state leaders in finding solutions for the issues that affect patients, populations and policy, and many of our programs serve as national models of excellence.
Community Medical School is a series of evening medical science lectures led by UVM/The University of Vermont Medical Center faculty experts. Free and open to the public. Fall 2015 Community Medical School lectures will take place in the Carpenter Auditorium the first Tuesday of each month.

The University of Vermont College of Medicine opened its doors on Saturday, May 30, 2015 to more than 90 seventh- and eighth-grade girls. The students, coming from about 29 schools across Vermont, engaged in day-long activities hosted by medical students from the UVM chapter of the American Medical Women’s Association.
