IMPORTANT BORROWER INFORMATION:
The University of Vermont is pleased to announce that as of April 1, 2008, the billing for Federal Perkins, Health Professions and UVM Institutional Loans, in which UVM is the lender, will be handled by Educational Computer Systems, Incorporated (ECSI).
The decision to change our billing service (from ACS to ECSI) was made after careful review of the benefits our customers will receive through the many features ECSI offers.
What does this mean? ECSI will be acting on behalf of the University of Vermont for the billing and repayment of your student loans.
As an agent for UVM, ECSI will assist you in meeting your repayment obligation for your student loan(s).
Your first statement from ECSI will be mailed on approximately April 15, 2008 and will be due on May 1, 2008. An enclosed letter of introduction will inform you of ECSI's many exciting features and will also include your personal login directions, payment options, and ECSI contact information.
