As you may be aware, the Living/Learning Center is scheduled to undergo a major renovation. 2003 marks the beginning of the Center’s 30th year of continuous operation, and our facilities are in need of significant restoration.
Renovation work is scheduled to begin in May, 2004, and be completed by August, 2006 or August, 2007. All work will take place during the summer months, so it should not interfere with normal use of the building during the academic year. Most of the work will take place in Buildings A, B, C, D and E, although some work will occur in the Commons Building.
The scope of the planned renovations is extensive and at this time tentatively includes:
We are holding two focus groups on Tuesday, March 11, and are interested in hearing from students who are interested in participating in one of these groups. The focus groups will take place at 4:30 and 6:30 and will last approximately 90 minutes each.
