To become a member in one of the Living/Leanring Center's Programs, students must complete an application online. This application is reviewed by Program Directors and decisions about the program's membership are made based on interest and enthusiasm.

HOW DO I APPLY?
You will want to complete a Living/Learning Program Application for
each program to
which you are interested. To apply, use the convenient on-line application form
that is available on our Web site. We strongly encourage new students
to apply to more than one program and ask that you rate
your
applications 1, 2, 3, 4, etc., to indicate your preference for each
program.
Typically,
we recommend that new students apply to at least three programs to
increase the likelihood that they will be admitted. All programs
do have spaces available for new students, but some may have more than
others.
Please be sure to answer all questions on the application form.
WHAT HAPPENS WITH MY APPLICATION?
Your application will be considered with all other First-Year
student applications.
The chance of being admitted to a program varies depending on the
number
of spaces available for First-Year students and the number of
applications
received. The directors of each program review applications and make
final decisions about admittance. In any case, we encourage you to
complete
your
application thoughtfully.
WHEN IS THE APPLICATION DEADLINE?
The application deadline for incoming first-year, transfer and exchange students is June 30, 2009. Applications received after the deadline will be
considered on a space-available basis.
WHEN WILL I FIND OUT IF I'M ACCEPTED INTO A PROGRAM?
You will be notified by email (sent to your UVM email account) in August about the program to which
you have been admitted.

The application deadline for Current UVM students to apply to Living/Learning Programs has passed.
Program Directors will make decisions about membership for next year by noon on Friday, March 20th. Applicants will then be asked to confirm their membership in the program of their choice as soon as possible (ideally, by the end of the business day on Friday, March 20th). Once applicants have confirmed their membership, Program Directors will assign them to a room within the program and that housing assignment will be confirmed by Residential Life and Living/Learning Center staff.
