The multi-talented Sarasa Ensemble from Boston have appeared on the Lane Series many times. They are as committed to outreach as they are to traditional concertizing, and have won the respect of the musical and social service communities through their efforts to bring classical music to underserved audiences. On the Lane Series they will perform a concert of Handel German Arias and Purcell Songs which will feature the renowned Canadian soprano Nancy Argenta. Also on the program will be instrumental music of the period for violin, flute and continuo that will include Lane Director Jane Ambrose on flute!
