Vassily first performed on the Lane Series as a Van Cliburn semi-finalist in 2004. Since then, he continues to make a name for himself as a consummate artist of the keyboard, performing in the big Russian style that audiences adore. Known for his interpretations of Chopin, his recent recording of 21 Mazurkas was named a “best of the year in 2009.”
