“[Paremski’s] softly expressive tone gave no inkling of the forces she would unleash, embracing fearlessly the extremes of tenderness and fierce passion.” – The Guardian.com

Having amazed the audience with her dynamic performance with the VSO a couple of years ago, pianist NATASHA PAREMSKI returns to Burlington, this time to play on the Lane stage. Born in Moscow, Natasha began her studies at age four at Moscow’s Andreyev School of Music, continued at the San Francisco Conservatory after emigrating to the US at the age of eight, and received a degree from the Mannes College of Music. She made her professional debut at age nine with the El Camino Youth Symphony in California and has since played with orchestras, festivals, and appeared in recitals across  the world. She has also won the Prix Montblanc, the Orpheum Stiftung Prize, and the Classical Recording Foundation’s Young Artist of the Year. With her consistently striking and dynamic performances, Paremski shows astounding virtuosity and voracious interpretive abilities. Her Lane Series program will include works by Brahms, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff.
