“Her cabaret-naif act is superb and surprising, all peaches, cream, and then – just when you’re not anticipating it – a shot of something bitingly high-proof.” — Alan Scherstuhl, Village Voice

Writer, composer, satirist, Broadway star, jazz pianist, comedienne, ukelele virtuoso, and cabaret performer extraordinaire, the smart and “bewitching pixie of a performer” (New York Times) Nelly McKay joins us for an evening of songs, stories, and comedy. Nelly has won a Theater World Award for her portrayal of Polly in Three Penny Opera, has collaborated with Bill Irwin and David Shiner on the revue, Old Hats; and received raves for her noirish musical I Want to Live. Co-produced with the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, we’ll set up the FlynnSpace as an urban nightclub, complete with resident mixologist. A very fun and sophisticated night out!
