Description:
This black and white photograph looks northeast toward the Abatiell house, which is located along U.S. Route 4 in Killington (formerly Sherburne). The paved, two-lane highway cuts across the foreground and passes up the left side of the image. The small, wood-frame dwelling is sited in a clearing on the right side of the road. Forested hills rise to the rear of the dwelling and roll out into the background. Utility poles line the roadway. The season is spring.
