Re-shot: Palmer Property, Barns
Town:
Thetford
County:
Orange
State:
Vermont
Date:
2012-06-11
Description:
This color photograph documents the barns on the Palmer property, which is located along U.S. Route 5 in Thetford. Interstate-91 was constructed parallel with U.S. 5, directly to the west, resulting in the acquisition of a number of properties along the west side of the U.S. highway. The barns and farm house seen in this image set were spared from the path of the interstate; and despite a slightly wider shoulder on the highway, remarkably little has changed between the original image and the re-shot. The season is spring.
