Description:
This black and white photograph documents the attic of the dwelling at 12 Maplewood Terrace, which is located near the intersection of U.S. Routes 4 and 5 in White River Junction. The property was owned by the Trustees of the Methodist Church and was used as a rectory. Wood rafters line the sloped wall at the left side of the space, and beams span the ceiling. A well in the center of the floor provides access to a ladder or staircase. A sheer curtain hangs over a window on the far wall. A broom is propped against the wall to the right of the window, and a few newspapers are strewn on the floor. The attic is otherwise empty. See LS46499-LS46511 for more views of this property.
