Description:
This black and white photograph looks south over the Devarney property, which is located near the future site of I-89 construction in Milton. A field spreads out across the foreground of the image. The grass on the right side of the field has been torn up. Tire tracks have made deep ruts in the mud. A road passes across the background on the far side of the field. Utility poles line the road, and a car is parked along the road at the right side of the image. A dwelling and several outbuildings are clustered around the road near the left side of the image. Junk is strewn alongside one of the outbuildings. Trees span the horizon. Light snow dusts the ground. The season is autumn.
