There is a white wooden fence in the forefront of the photo and the tractor is located in the clearing behind the fence. There is a man, most likely Howard Calkins, sitting in the tractor and another man working behind the tractor. There is an automobile to the left of the tractor and a small dog in front of that car. There is a large wooden pole behind the car and utility lines running near the wooden frame house pictured on the left. You can see a white wooden fence in the background of the photo. There is a large clearing of snow in the background as well as a view of coniferous and bare deciduous trees and mountains.
