Rutland marble industry workers pose for a photograph of a giant marble storage area along a set of railroad tracks. The terrain is mountainous, homes nestled into the surrounding hills, and utility lines to the left of the tracks leading back towards a more urban area of the town. A church can be seen in the center of the photograph, just before the tree-spotted hills roll up from the strip of houses.
