This historic image shows the Addison Grange shortly after it was constructed in January of 1875. In the foreground, there is a grassy lawn on which many men, women and children stand posed for the camera. The grange is behind them. It is a wooden building with a gable front entrance and a large tower. Note the additional one story buildings on either side of the grange and the deciduous trees in the background. The people in the photo are part of the grange council meeting of 1875. Another photo shows the Addison Town Hall constructed in 1872 with people out in front of it from the 1875 grange council meeting. The buildings in the background on either side of the church are the horse sheds.
