1927 Flood Movie Screenshot: Bolton 4

Title:
1927 Flood Movie Screenshot: Bolton 4
Town:
Bolton
County:
Chittenden
State:
Vermont
Date:
1927-11
Description:
This image is a screenshot from a movie made using actual footage from the 1927 flood: This image is from a clip of the 1927 Flood Movie that begins with the caption "The Railroad track looked like a Scenic Railway." While it is difficult to see exactly what is going on due to the limited quality of the historic video it is clear that this is in the Bolton valley area and that on the left of the shot is a large field, on the right the Winooski river, and in the middle the train tracks. Note the hillside in the background. Note also the stacked material in the foreground, though it is unclear what exactly it is.
