Looking over Winooski River

Title:
Looking over Winooski River
Town:
Burlington
County:
Chittenden
State:
Vermont
Date:
2008-04
Description:
This is a shot depicting a view looking down over the Winooski river and into town. The buildings are difficult to see because they are in the distance and slightly covered by vegetation. However, there is one to the left of the picture that is dark red brick with a green roof and numerous windows. There is another building located to the right of this one and it also seems to be brick. It is difficult to tell whether or not there is another building next to that one because the trees in the front of the picture are acting blocking the view. However, in the right side of the picture Spinner Place is visible. The river covers the bottom third of the picture and two small islands inside the river are visible. There is also what looks like a brown tower (possibly for electric purposes) behind the buildings. The picture was taken on a partially cloudy spring day and the leaves on the trees seem to be just coming in. There are numerous trees in the front of the picture, some even blocking the camera’s view as well as lots of forest in the background.
