- Date:
- 1910 - 1930
- Description:
- This image depicts several men and women dancing on a raised wooden dance floor on a grass-covered area. There are two groups of six people all holding hands and dancing in a circle. Several others are standing nearby also on the stage. On the far right of the stage an man in a top hat is holding a microphone. Many of the men are wearing suits and hats while the women are wearing long dresses and bonnets. Behind the dancers a long single story log cabin is visible. The structure has a few windows, a door and a chimney. To the right of the log structure are several other open structures or huts possible used by vendors at the fair. Several leafed-out deciduous trees can be seen around and behind the log structure. A speaker is also visible in the background. There are utility lines on the right side of the image. A partially forested hillside is visible in the background. Hand written on the bottom of the image: The World's Fair Tunbridge, Vermont
