Title:
Gazebo at the Fort
Town:
Colchester
County:
Chittenden
State:
Vermont
Date:
2007-04
Description:
This photo shows a gazebo in the field of Fort Ethan Allen. The green field has short grass and extends into the background of the photo. A white gazebo with a red roof lies in the middle of the field. It is fairly large and has stairs running up from the left. A flagpole is located to the right gazebo. At the edge of the field a road curves around with trees planted along the side. Through the bare trees can be seen large two story brick houses. In the far background a tower can be seen and the green mountains beyond that. The sky is overcast on this early spring day. The flagpole is on the left side of the gazebo in the old picture and is on the right side in the new picture. The trees are fully leaved and make it hard to see the buildings in the old picture. There is another tower structure in the old photo that is not present in the new one. There are more buildings in the background of the new photo were there are trees in the old picture.
