This photograph shows where the Carrigan Dairy Science Building at the University of Vermont used to be. It was destroyed in 2005 for the Davis Center construction project. In the foreground is a grass lawn, with a deciduous tree on the left and another on the right of the picture. Further left, there is a stone wall with dotted vegetation alongside of it. In the mid-ground is a metal fence. On the other side of the fence is a drop of four feet into the parking lot below the Davis Center. Right across from the fence is a flower bed with small green plants. The Davis Center is located in the top right corner of the picture. It is a four story building made up of red bricks. There are a number of stylized windows. In the background, the medical building and marsh life sciences can bee seen. The season is spring, with leaves budding from deciduous trees

This historic photograph shows a view of the Carrigan Dairy Science Building at the University of Vermont. In the foreground, a stone parking lot encircles the building, while large wooden timbers enclose the boundaries of the lot. On the lower part of the parking lot, some water related erosion is present. The Dairy Science Building is made of brick, with cement and limestone trim (ex. see above door). The building sits upon a low hill surrounded by grass, while other UVM buildings and elm trees are visible in the background. The season is summer.
