Dock at St. Albans Bay
Town:
St. Albans
County:
Franklin
State:
Vermont
Date:
2004-07-07
Description:
The current photo shows the current dock in the bay. Note the dock has been lowered to the water level and steamers are no longer docked there. The only boasts at the dock are small personal boats. A house stands on the point to the left, with a flagpole (?) in the front yard. The shoreline looks unnaturally shaped, perhaps rip-rapped. The hillside in the distance is wooded. A thin sheet of white clouds pass over a blue sky.
