Description:
Image shows field view where house and barn used to stand. Laura Chew writes on 2008-12-29: This modern image shows a grassy field, which appears to be atop a gently sloping hillside. The ground is dotted with yellow and lavender wild flowers. On the left hand side of the image there is a person. The image looks like it is spring, as the leaves are on the trees, the sky is blue, and the colors are vibrant.

Title:
Babcock Farm House and Buildings
Town:
Greensboro
County:
Orleans
State:
Vermont
Date:
1860 - 1900
Description:
This is a photograph, most likely turn of the century, of a partially connected hill farm in Greensboro. There appear to be piles of wood between the house and large barn. In the foreground are grassy fields and in the background are hills. Looks like fall or spring. The area is now almost completely forested and the buildings are gone. The foundations for the buildings are still extant.
