- Date:
- 1964-10-01
- Description:
- This black and white photograph looks south down Hinesburg Road (Vermont Route 116) as it crosses a section of I-89 in South Burlington. The paved, two-lane highway passes up the center of the image. Guard rails line the bridge, which crosses the interstate in the midground of the image. The interstate is just visible at the right edge of the image. A speed limit sign is posted alongside the highway. Farm fields sprawl out in the background on the far side of the interstate. A dwelling is sited in the field on the right, while a large farm complex is sited in the field on the left. A few trees are scattered around the buildings. The season is autumn.
