Title:
Aerial Photo of Grand Isle
- Date:
- 1940
- Description:
- This is an aerial view of Grand Isle pictured in 1940. There is a paved road that runs down the center of the photo. To the right of the road is a plot of land that looks like a plot of farmland. There are residential houses located on the right side of the road, as well as barns. To the left of the road, there are many wooden-frame houses and what appears to be a school. Further back from the road, there is a chapel. Coniferous and deciduous trees line the road and dot the landscape at Grand Isle. Lake Champlain is located in the background of the photo.
