Description:
Here is an aerial image of Montpelier from a high altitude so much of the town can be seen. The Winooski River runs parallel to both the roadways and railways until both cross the river by way of bridge. Industrial buildings line the river. Residential areas surround either side of the river. Hilly sections covered with trees are present on the right hand side of this image. Utility poles line the roadways and a small stream can be seen in the hillside.
