This is a photograph of the Elkins Tavern in Peacham. The building was built in 1787. It is a large, two story building with a porch and two chimneys. Note the one story addition on the right of the building. There are deciduous trees around the tavern and a wooden barn to the right. The hill the tavern is placed on is grassy. Note the handwritten note on the bottom of the picture that says "The Elkins Tavern- Built in 1787 Peacham, VT."
