This black and white aerial photograph looks across a lake (likely Lake Champlain) towards the opposite shore. The land across the lake is fairly flat and mostly open, interspersed with dense clusters of coniferous and deciduous trees. Cows are visible in the field bordering the lake along the left edge of the photograph. The lake extends into the distance. Mountain peaks can faintly be seen in the background.
