Title:
Break during the construction of Wyanoki hut
- Date:
- 1925?
- Description:
- The caption on the back of this historic image reads, "Wyanoki under construction, 1925?" The wooden frame has been constructed of what will be a small lean-to. Corrugated metal sheets are leaning against the right wall and part of the back wall. There are also a few boards resting on what will be the ceiling of the lean to, and a large saw rests against the side in the foreground. It appears as though the three men building the lean-to have taken a break to eat, and are sitting at a small table inside the frame with various supplies and food spread out on the table. Two buckets can be seen on the ground in the foreground and towels hang above the men's head. The surrounding area is deciduous forest. There is a small boulder on the ground in the lower left of the image with a cut tree next to it.
