Picking Blackberries near Liberty Hill Farm in Rochester

Title:
Picking Blackberries near Liberty Hill Farm in Rochester
Town:
Rochester
County:
Windsor
State:
Vermont
Date:
1992
Description:
Photographer Paul O. Boisvert captured this image of Tom Kenneth and Dan Cherdack picking blackberries near Liberty Hill Farm in Rochester in the summer of 1992. The Kenneth family ran the farm as an inn. The two boys stand at the foreground of the image. The boy on the left holds a small basket, and the boy on the right holds a round plastic bowl. Both the basket and bowl are partially filled with berries. The boys are standing on the side of a hill that is covered in tall plants and wildflowers. The hills slopes downward behind the boys. A line of shrubs and deciduous and coniferous trees grow lower down along the hill. The wood-frame, gable-roof inn is visible among the trees at the base of the hill. An open field spreads out beyond the inn. Forested hills rise along the far edge of the field. All rights reserved, copyright Vermont Life Magazine. Contact Vermont Life at editors@VermontLlfe.com
