Boulders in Stream

Title:
Boulders in Stream
Town:
Belvidere
County:
Lamoille
State:
Vermont
Date:
1900 - 2004
Description:
This image shows boulders, cobbles, and pebbles in and along a small stream. There is a wooden and barbed wire fence falling apart on the left side of the stream and riparian vegetation along the right. There is grass behind the fence and an area where the water has undercut the bank under the fence. There are several trees along the stream. Esther Munroe Swift writes on 2006-1-22: A very attractive rustic site... Barbed wire would seem to indicate that trespassers were not welcome.
