This photograph shows the widening of Court Square in Middlebury. In the immediate foreground there is a dirt road. On the right is the large brick building with the sign "Middlebury Inn." It has a small cement porch, with a man on it. Off to the left there are several construction workers. There is a truck parked outside near the workers, as well as a piece of construction equipment. There is a lamppost near them as well. Behind the workers is a small stand of leafless deciduous trees. Behind the trees is the Episcopal Church. The season is most likely fall or spring.
