- Description:
- From a series of six photographs showing the effects of Dutch elm disease, this photograph from the 1980s shows both sides of Pearl St. empty where impressive elm trees once stood. In the left of the frame two smaller buildings sit next to a tall brick building. Further on in the distance one can make out large multiple story buildings and evergreen trees. On the opposite side of the street a post office and a large office building sit on the corner of Elmwood St.
